Fabriano’s Studio Watercolor Pads present quality & value, appropriate for both the beginner and the student of fine arts. Made in Italy with a blend of high quality lignin free cotton and cellulose, the paper is acid-free and internally/externally sized for optimal absorbance. Ideal for multimedia techniques, watercolor, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, drawing and markers.
Each pad holds 12 sheets that are tapebound on one side.
Hot press paper is the smoothest watercolour paper. It is good for creating works in fine detail, and for use with pen and ink, pencils and markers. Cold press is the traditional watercolor surface with a medium texture called "tooth", which is also preferred by many artists working with charcoal.
