Stonehenge Printmaking Paper, Colors
Stonehenge is 100% cotton paper that is acid and chlorine free with a neutral pH. It is a very versatile paper for artists working in a broad spectrum of media. Originally created as a printmaking paper, Stonehenge is used for letterpress, pen & ink, pastel & charcoal, relief printing, silkscreen, and watercolor.
Stonehenge has the ability to take multiple layers of wax-based and oil-based colored pencil without any buildup, allowing colors to penetrate and absorb into the surface of the sheet. Stonehenge is made in the USA as a high quality, affordable paper that never compromises fiber composition, archival properties and its suitability for multiple mediums.

FLAX art & design is a genuine Oakland institution. Opening their first store in 1938, they're now on their 3rd generation of family ownership and have recently relocated to a beautiful new Downtown location that could best be described as a "toy store for artists." 80 years in and they're still putting art and community front and center. You can visit them at their own site here, or find more of their products right here on Keep Oakland Alive.
