Princeton 6300 Synthetic Bristle Brushes
Princeton 6300 Series brushes are superior, longer lasting bristle brushes that cooperate better than natural bristle across a broad range of mediums. A key advantage of a 6300 Series brush is that it will not go limp in water, unlike a natural bristle brush. These brushes can accept oil, heavy bodied acrylics, and even gels and impasto mediums.
Modeled on the look and feel of hog bristle, this brush is long-wearing and perfect for painters switching from oils to acrylic or water-soluble oil. Each brush body is made with a gold plated ferrule that is attached to a black lacquered, long wood handle.
Available in Angle Bright, Bright, Fan, Filbert, Flat and Round, shown left to right in image.
FLAX art & design is a genuine Oakland institution. Opening their first store in 1938, they're now on their 3rd generation of family ownership and have recently relocated to a beautiful new Downtown location that could best be described as a "toy store for artists." 80 years in and they're still putting art and community front and center. You can visit them at their own site here, or find more of their products right here on Keep Oakland Alive.
