Masterpiece makes premium stretched canvases. Sausalito cotton canvas has a heavy-weight rugged surface. It weighs 11.5 oz. raw and comes to you with a weight of 14 oz. after priming. It is great for heavy paint applications of oil and acrylic, and the like all Masterpiece canvases, the solid, beefy construction makes a big impressions for commission work.
The canvas is drum-tight, thanks to a proprietary stretching method over precision machined stretcher bars with pre-installed corner keys. Made from wood harvested in the sustainable forests of the Pacific Northwest, Monet Pro Sausalito is the professionals choice.
