      Cotman Pocket PLUS Watercolor Set

      $25.95

This Cotman Pocket PLUS set is perfect for beginner and professional artists who wish to travel with their paints. The set is compact, lightweight and the half pans of Cotman watercolors allow for easy clean up and control over the individual colors. The half pans make these sets reusable and lasting as each pan can be replaced when used up.

Cotman Watercolors are made to Winsor & Newton's high quality standards but are offered to artists at an affordable price. Cotman colors possess good transparency and excellent tinting strength and working properties.

The Pocket PLUS set features 12 half pans and a Cotman Pocket brush in a convenience pocket size case. It has three mixing surfaces including a clip-on palette and a removable internal palette, plus a unique 4-pan cartridge system that clips easily into place. This makes pan replacement and color change a snap. It also has a soft, rubberized pop-out thumb loop for simple and comfortable handheld use.

Colors included in the Pocket PLUS set are: Chinese White, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Viridian Hue, Sap Green, Cobalt Blue Hue, Ultramarine, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Cadmium Red Pale Hue, Cadmium Yellow Hue and Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue

FLAX art & design is a genuine Oakland institution. Opening their first store in 1938, they're now on their 3rd generation of family ownership and have recently relocated to a beautiful new Downtown location that could best be described as a "toy store for artists." 80 years in and they're still putting art and community front and center. You can visit them at their own site here, or find more of their products right here on Keep Oakland Alive.
