Depending on the paper being used, the pigments can be completely dissolved, and will then behave in the same way as classic watercolor paints.
These pencils contain high-quality acid-free pigments in bright colors with unsurpassed lightfastness. The thick 3.8 mm leads are housed in premium California cedar wood casings with SV bonding to strengthen lead and resist breakage. Pencils come pre-sharpened and protected in strong metal tins.
